Quilting

St. Patrick's Day
Today, I have a small paper pieced pillow (9" finished) that matches the table runner for St. Patrick's Day.
It is done in 4 sections and pieced together, then the borders were added and a backing fabric and then was stuffed. With something this small it is necessary to paper piece , otherwise the pieces would be too small. Trying to use up my stash of this holiday fabrics.

Quilting

Saint Patrick's DayThis table runner has been around for awhile but since I only have it out for a short time, I thought I would share. The green shamrock were pieced together, then cut out sort of like a heart shape and Machine appliqued on a larger white printed fabric. Borders were added then quilted in the ditch.

Quilting

Reversible Table Runner

So here is another table runner that is reversible. On one side I use it for St Patrick's Day and on the reverse it is done in Easter colors. Quilt as you go using a large center square and strips on the reverse. Then you cut triangles for one side and strips for the reverse. All layered on the batting. You can continue for as long as you want the size to be.

Quilting

Saint Patrick's Day

With St. Patrick's Day only 10 days away, I thought I would post projects in the next couple of days for this holiday. This is a table cover made very similar to the heart place mats but then cut in the shape of a shamrock. Strip pieced so scraps are used. The back is done in the white with green fabric and looks good enough to be used on this side as well. You could put a hook on this project and then hang it on a door. I currently have this on the center of my kitchen table.
